Water Energy and Food Security – Call for Solutions

The Conference will focus on the issues such as:
• How water can be secured for crucial purposes like drinking water and food production, highlighting innovative and more water-efficient technologies.
• How threats from water pollution in various parts can be minimized by innovations in industry.
• Impact of climate change on water sector.
• Awareness and education for achieving water security;
• Rules and obligations that have to be linked to the “human rights approach” to water provision;
• How does water management impact on food and energy security in the region.
• How can the water-food-energy security nexus be measured and managed.
An exhibition is also being arranged from April 10-12, 2012 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi which will cover the entire gamut of technologies and facilities available for water resources development and management to provide a networking opportunity to the exhibitors for exposing their products and services to the practicing water resources professionals from all countries
